Vision
Moving to a new place can feel lonely without the right resources. My goal is to help families, whether military personnel, new enlistees, or those simply relocating, downsizings, growing families, transition smoothly and find not just a house—but a community where they truly feel at home.
Mission
I aim to create a one-stop resource to help families settle in seamlessly—finding the perfect neighborhood to fit their needs, kid-friendly activities, local connections, and places to relax and grow. Mach 2 is designed to provide everything you need to feel truly at home in a new community.
About Me
My understanding of what “home” truly means began in the summer of 1999. After four months as refugees, my family returned to Kosovo, enduring a 24-hour bus ride from southern Albania. Rebuilding wasn’t easy—months to feel safe, years to reconnect with friends and loved ones—but those days taught me the profound value of safety, stability, and community.
I was born and raised in Kosovo, where growing up in the 1980s meant living in a bustling home with 25 family members under one roof. It was a warm and joyful time, but as the late ‘80s turned to the ‘90s, war cast a shadow over our lives. The economy crumbled, jobs were lost, and demonstrations became common. By 1999, the violence became unimaginable—ethnic cleansing, massacres, and executions forced us to flee to Albania, where we found refuge for four months.
One year after the war ended as soon as I turned 18, began working with the United Nations, first as an interpreter, eventually advancing to a coordinator role. Collaborating with professionals from over 60 nationalities was like listening to a beautiful playlist of life experiences. My work included roles supporting Prisoner Escort Unit and combating, Human Trafficking—opportunities that shaped me and taught me resilience.
In 2003, I moved to the United States and made Virginia Beach my home. At first, it was hard to find my footing in a new place, but in 2007, I discovered my passion when I joined a family-run vacation rental company. Helping families find joy and feel “at home,” even for a short time, sparked something in me. I soon transitioned slowly into freelancing managing properties and working alongside agents until I earned my full-time real estate license in 2016. I haven’t looked back since.
Beside real Estate I am passionate about bringing clean water to those less fortunate. My siblings and I have been fortunate in past to build wells in India, and I hope to build some more. The goal is dozen more before end of 2027. We have done Meals on wheels past years, this is something my kids and I look forward to reengage in 2025, just small acts to help our community sprout.
Today, as a mother and the wife of a Retired Navy pilot, I understand the challenges of relocating—finding the right home, schools, and community while balancing the uncertainties of life. Having spent over 20 years in Virginia Beach and surrounded by the military community, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what families need when moving to Hampton Roads. Whether you’re starting over, moving for the military, or simply looking for your next chapter, I’m here to help you find more than a house—I’m here to help you find home.
For me, real estate is more than a job—it’s about helping others navigate their journey to a place where they feel safe, stable, and connected. My experiences have shaped who I am, and I bring that understanding to every family I work with. Whether you’re starting over, moving for the military, or simply looking for your next chapter, I’m here to help you find more than a house—I’m here to help you find home.
